At AXE, the machining operator is responsible for transforming raw parts into finished components using traditional or numerically controlled (NC) machine tools.
He or she ensures the precision, quality and conformity of parts according to drawings and specifications.

Main tasks :

  • Prepare machines and tools for machining parts
  • Read and interpret drawings and technical instructions
  • Machine parts to tolerances and quality standards
  • Check the quality of machined parts and report any anomalies
  • Perform first-level machine maintenance
  • Comply with safety instructions and production procedures
  • Work in coordination with production and maintenance teams

Recommended training / qualifications :

  • CAP or Bac Pro Machining Technician, Productics, Mechanics or Aeronautics
  • BTS in Boilermaking or Machining
  • Machining Operator or Numerical Control (NC) vocational title
