Founded in 1989 in the heart of Normandy by Pierre Sevestre, the AXE Group is now a leading industrial player specialising in fine sheet metal work and precision machining.
With more than 300 employees spread across five industrial sites — three in France, one in Romania and one in China — the AXE Group has more than 30,000 m² of production facilities and generates annual revenue in excess of €40 million.

The Group is today headed by Mr. Josh JAMES, President, and Mr. Jacques NEVEU, General Manager.
A growth marked by key milestones
2025: AXE invests in new machining centers for the Group.
2024: Investment in a welding cobot for AXE Métal’s machine park, an ATC at the Oradéa site and a machining centre in Besançon.
2023: AXE invests in Oradéa in industrial resources. Construction de l’extension du Site de Romorantin de 900 m².
2018: On November 26, parts manufactured by AXE arrive on the planet Mars.
2017/2018: AXE invests 8% of the C.A in R&D.
2013: AXE invests in the aeronautical sector and settles in Besançon.
2011: Opening of a site in China, strengthening the group’s international presence.
2006: Josh JAMES and Jacques NEVEU become directors-shareholders of AXE.
2003: Creation of AXE Romania in Oradea.
2000: Acquisition of the Romorantin site, now AXE Systems, our “Robotics and Integration” division.
1992: Construction of the first production unit in Saint-Désir (Normandy).
1989: Creation of AXE by Pierre Sevestre, specialized in fine sheet metal for electronics, with 15 employees.
